Guinness World Records named Jennifer Lawrence the top-grossing heroine of action movies.

Guinness World Records issued a statement on their website and explained that Lawrence’s role in the Hunger Games film franchise got her the title. Hunger Games franchise became very much popular as well as profitable. Only the first two movies won the franchise $1.52 billion all over the world.
There is another record to the franchise’s credit. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is the highest-grossing among all the other post-apocalypse movies. It earned $420 million only in the US. The overall grossing around the world was $854 million.
Now that there is so much hype over the next sequel of The Hunger Games, Lawrence is expected to retain her record. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 1 will be on screen soon. It is to be released in both the US and UK on November 21 this year. Katniss will be moved from District 1 to District 13 where there is a struggle going on for freedom.
