Federal University Of Petroleum Resources(FUPRE), Gets New Vice Chancellor, Registrar

    

The Governing Council of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE), Effurun has approved the appointment of a new Vice-Chancellor and Registrar for the university.

The new Vice Chancellor is Professor Akaehomen Okonigbon Akii Ibhadode. He was born on September 13, 1957 in Irrua, Nigeria and obtained BSME from the University Lagos, Nigeria, 1981; Master in Manufacturing Engineering, University Benin, 1984; PhDME, Birmingham University, England, 1987.

He is a registered member of several Engineering associations. Prof. Ibhadode started his lecturing career as a graduate assistant at the University of Benin in 1982.

Also appointed is Mr. Ejikemenwor Morrison Ichendu as the Registrar of the University.

Their appointment which took effect from Monday, May 4, 2015 paved way for new administration in the University.
