Arsenal are optimistic that Alexis Sanchez will return to action before the end of December, having suffered an hamstring injury in their last match against Norwich injury.
According to Goal.com, Preliminary tests indicate that the injury which forced Sanchez out of Sunday’s game is not so serious. However, doctors have disclosed that there would be further tests to determine the full extent of the injury.
The London club hope that the Chilean would likely be back before their big Premier League game against Manchester City on December 21.
Arsenal travel to Olympiakos next week in a cricucial UEFA Champions League clash and would likely be without Alexis and Santi Cazorla.
As a result, Aaron Ramsey is expected to return to the centre-midfield.
Theo Walcott will likely return from a calf problem to compete with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Joel Campbell and Kieran Gibbs as the north London club try to cope with their injury crisis.
